Running injury prevention and management

Our physiotherapist Hamish has a special interest in running prevention and injury management and offers advice and treatment to the Melbourne running community. Being a regular runner himself having completed multiple half and full marathons Hamish personally understands the demands of running and treatment needed to get back to pain free running. He understands the frustrations that come with not being able to participate in our beloved sport when injured and the effects this can have on both our physical and mental health. 

Trusted by some of the best athletes in the world, Hamish will work closely with you to effectively manage your running injury or pain to ensure a efficient and safe pain free running.

Our Broadbeach physiotherapist if required will work closely with you and your coaches to ensure training loads are monitored and everyone is on the same page when rehabilitating your injury. 

Occasionally further investigations may be required such as scans to come up with an accurate diagnosis to implement best practice.  If required we can refer you directly for these or communicate with your GP for referral.
